About Periwinkle Literary Magazine

Periwinkle Literary Magazine was created in October 2019 by Editor-in-Chief, Venus Davis. The goal of this magazine is the create a space for writers to succeed without it being considered academically correct. We want the work your teachers would not like because it is not polished enough. Or maybe it's too visceral in its imagery or it's too sad. We aim to be a space in which writers can learn what the literary world is like, or they can find their place in it. Periwinkle Literary Magazine is by the people, for the people. For those who do and don't fit in other spaces.
